So you’re working with Stef and me? What excellent decisions!

I’m really glad to have you on board.

what can you expect?

We are all going to work together to build a beautiful online home for your business which reflects your goals and provides you with the tools you need to be efficient and keep your business developing in the direction of growth.

what will you get?

Well, that really depends on what you need. We will have a really good discussion about what that looks like for your business. No cookie cutter solutions here! Your solutions might be a five page website, or it might be three pages with really well developed categories and tags with ecommerce. It might be the best one page website everrrr.

You will get what you need.

what will be your investment?

The actual dollar amount you might be spending does differ. Sometimes a lot. But in very general terms, a basic website with me will be around $3000 – $5000.

You should definitely read more about what you can expect in this process.

what Happens next?

I’m so glad you asked! I do all the things: code, design, development, database management, business and product development, and I coach you through your copywriting. I have a pretty toight process for this….

The Brief

I’ll ask the right questions to uncover the truth about why you need a new website and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. Some of these questions may seem a little uncomfortable. In fact, if it doesn’t get a little awkward, then chances are I haven’t done my job.

The Sitemap

Once I have all the information I need, I’ll build a visual sitemap so we can all get on the same page very quickly about what it is we’re trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information.

Here’s mine as an example.

The Prototype

Now instead of trying to tell you what I intend to build and hoping you understand my jargon, at this point I’ll build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you how my solution will work. With no attention to design at this stage, it ain’t pretty, but it gets us close real quick.

We’ll get this all settled before I build any responsive components. I’m not going to build a site at two other screen sizes until we get this first one right.

Here’s what a one page prototype might look like.

The Design

The fun begins during the design stage because we get to play with the crayons and colouring pencils to bring your interactive prototype to life to match your brand identity.

Here’s that same page fully designed.

The Delivery

Finally, we go underground for a couple of weeks and make sure everything is plugged in and tested so you can show it off to the whole world.

You also have a part to play.

I can’t do this without YOUR help.

I need your images, words, assistance, and helpful feedback through this process. Luckily, I made a pretty handy little guide to get us through it together. Download it and have a read by clicking the cover.

 sounds great! what next?

Send me an email and we’ll discuss what solutions are available,  investment, and talk contracty stuff. When I receive your deposit we will get cracking!

Got some questions first? Head over here to see if I’ve answered them already.
